The Scream

Sandra Paugam was born in 1972 in Paris. She began her career in the field of art and culture documentaries as an assistant director. Since 2009, she has shifted her focus to directing.

She is particularly renowned for her significant contributions to the realm of art films, collaborating with prestigious institutions such as the Musée d'Orsay and the Réunion des Musées Nationaux (RMN). One of her most acclaimed films, Cocottes et courtisanes, received the award for Best Documentary Film at the Montreal International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) in 2016. Among her other notable works are Degas et le corps mis à nu, a captivating exploration of the work of artist Edgar Degas, as well as examinations of the history of the Grand Palais and a captivating portrait of Paul Durand-Ruel, the renowned dealer of the Impressionists.

Charles Ayats is a director of virtual reality and augmented reality films, interactive designer and scriptwriter, and also coordinates the residency at the VR Arles Festival.
He has made works such as SENS VR, Le Cri or 7 Lives directed by Jan Kounen, and that have won awards at major festivals. He collaborates also with several artists as the maestro Laurence Equilbey (Insula Orchestra) for ArchiBeethoven or the choregrapher Vincent Dupont in his last work No Reality now.
