The Little Dancer

An augmented reality project created by Gordon & Marie Sellier.

The Little Dancer is an augmented reality experience in which Edgar Degas’ Little Dancer brings children along a fantastic journey through artworks displayed in museums.

Her playful silhouette strolls around paintings, drawings, sculptures, and many other magical worlds created by artists, looking at them with a naive and enchanted gaze. In the first episode in co-production with the Musée d’Orsay and France Télévisions, the dancer has fallen for young imperial prince Eugene.

To bring him to life and free him from his frozen sculpted world, she must go from painting to painting, some of them being renowned masterpieces in art history, and gather the ingredients of a magic potion.
