The Enemy

An interactive and multi users experience by Karim Ben Khelifa.

The Enemy is a collective immersive experience that offers a direct and human perspective on the reality of war. The installation is explored by walking through it, at eye level. Through virtual reality, it allows participants to encounter and listen to the testimonies of fighters from three regions affected by long-standing conflicts: Israel and Palestine, El Salvador, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Audiences gain access to their stories, motivations, and hopes.

First presented in 2017, The Enemy returns today in an optimized version adapted to new standalone VR headsets. Seven years later, in an international context where conflicts increasingly dominate global attention, this immersive experience offers a moment of shared humanity.
