Since the dawn of time, fantasy has been a part of our lives. Imaginary worlds, magical creatures, chimerical animals... The power of our imagination has created some of the most beautiful pages in our libraries.
Our Fantasy Worlds will open the doors to the library of our imagination, allowing you to immerse yourself in the heart of three major stories from our literature: deep within the earth, the medieval poem Beowulf will lead you into the lair of a dangerous dragon. In the depths of the abyss, you will encounter the kraken from Victor Hugo's Toilers of the Sea. Finally, on the back of a phoenix, you will join Voltaire's The Princess of Babylon on her astonishing journey around the world.
Three worlds - subterranean, underwater, and celestial - and three fantastic creatures around which our myths, fears, dreams, and hopes revolve.
Inspired by the artwork of illustrator Frank Frazetta, known as 'the godfather of fantasy', and narrated by the renowned actor André Dussollier, Our Imaginary Worlds questions us: what kind of world do we live in? What kind of world do we want to live in? What if we created our own fantasy world? One that will enchant our lives tomorrow?
