Dolphin Man

Benoît Lichté is a filmmaker from Strasbourg. He began his career in 2001 as a journalist and camera operator for the regional channel Alsatic. From 2006 to 2013, he joined the France Télévisions network and served as presenter and editor-in-chief for various magazines for France 3 Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Since 2012, he has been dedicated to content creation. He creates and develops magazines for France Télévisions (such as "Pourquoi chercher plus loin" and "C’est là ! La Tête à l’endroit"), which he also directs. Since 2023, he has been developing the digital adaptation of the program "La Tête à l’Endroit" for France Télévisions' social media platforms by creating new formats tailored to digital usage.

In parallel, he writes and directs documentary films such as "Sous l’eau les pieds sur terre" (2009), "Libre de courir" (2015), and "Le goût du risque" (2016). With these projects, he became one of the French pioneers in 360° filming. He continues in this direction with the short film "Messa da Requiem" for ARTE and the Zurich Opera Ballet, and especially with the series "Dolphin Man VR" produced by ARTE and distributed by MK2, which has been awarded and screened at numerous festivals worldwide (FIVARS, TIFF, Tokyo Film Festival, ParisSciences, etc.).
