(Hi)story of a painting

Gaëlle Mourre is a screenwriter and director based between working in both traditional cinema and immersive storytelling. Driven by a passion for genre, she has written and directed several award-winning short films before venturing into Virtual Reality in 2018. Her projects have been selected for prestigious festivals including Sundance, SXSW, Venice Production Bridge, La Biennale Cinéma, Series Mania, BIFAN, and LSFF, among others. She was also honored as the "Most Promising Creator" by Eurofest XR at Stereopsia in 2021. She was selected for the Directors UK Inspire Programme 2019-2020, the BAFTA Crew x BFI Network 2021, and the Berlinale Talents 2022. Gaëlle is also in development on multiple immersive cinema projects while continuing to explore traditional format projects.

Quentin Darras is an award winning Animator and Director. A former child actor, decided to move beyond the camera to become an Animator and Director. He has been working in the 2D and 3D animation industry for over 10 years on movies, commercials and games and has worked as lead animator on international commercial campaigns for clients such as Nintendo and Creative Directing Blast’s 2018 ad campaign. In 2020, he co-created the VR animated series (Hi)Story of a Painting.
